Goniurosaurus lichtenfelderi

Goniurosaurus lichtenfelderi belongs to the family of eyelid geckos just like the Leopard gecko, the american banded geckos and its close relative Goniurosaurus luii.

Goniurosurus lichtenfelderi originates from southern China/northern Vietnam. It is relatively easy to care for if only you make sure the temperatures dont get too high and the humidity not too low.

This gecko demands a relatively high humidity and it is recommendable thet the vivarium is sprayed generously every or every other night. It does´nt tolearate temperatures above 28°C(82 degrees Fahrenheit) for extended periods of time and prefers temperatures between 24 and 26°C(75 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit).

Feeding is easy and different kinds of insects of appropriate size such as crickets, roaches, waxworms and mealworms are willingly accepted.

Goniurosaurus lichtenfelderi lays soft-shelled eggs that are incubated the same way as leopardgecko eggs but at a slightly lower temperature.
